Dr. Deal moved to Goshen in 1998 and began his private practice at Goshen Family Dentistry. He enjoys being a dentist and keeping pace with the constantly evolving field of dentistry. In order to accomplish this, he has taken hundreds of hours of continuing education in all areas of dentistry to stay current with the best materials and techniques necessary to deliver quality dentistry to his patients. In addition, he feels that dentists can learn a great deal from their interactions with each other so he remains an active member in the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, Indiana Dental Association, North Central Dental Society, Elkhart County Dental Society, Chicago Dental Society, and the Crown Council.
Dr. Deal is a proud member of the Goshen Noon Kiwanis and enjoys participating in their many community service related projects. For the past several years, Dr. Deal and the team at Goshen Family Dentistry have participated in the Smiles for Life campaign which has raised thousands of dollars for the local Boys and Girls Clubs and for many national children’s charities through the proceeds of teeth whitening. He and his team have also participated in the Give Kids a Smile program and the Donated Dental Services program for the physically and mentally disabled. He also is an active member of his church and enjoys participating in their many projects and activities.
When not practicing dentistry, Dr. Deal enjoys spending time with his wife and two sons. He still enjoys participating in sports and coaching his sons sports teams.
